Trailer Tyre Replacement

Ask with details of the parked trailer and site arrangements. Suitable access, support and authorisation must be confirmed before work is agreed.

No. Supply the trailer identification and fitted tyre markings because trailer specifications can differ from those of the tractor unit.

Several factors can contribute. Record the wheel position and pattern and arrange appropriate inspection rather than assuming a replacement alone solves the cause.

State the inner or outer position and axle. The team must confirm access, equipment and the condition of the adjacent assembly.

Do not assume either way. Explain the loading and parking conditions so safe fitting arrangements can be assessed.

Give the fleet number and required invoice details when arranging the work so the replacement can be attributed correctly.

Trailer tyre specification, access to inner wheels, travel and the number of replacements influence the charge. Any need to reposition the trailer or address wheel damage should be discussed beforehand.

Give the trailer fleet number or identification, size markings and axle position. Include whether it is coupled, loaded and accessible, plus the yard contact and gate instructions. Call 0800 111 6480 to confirm the scope, price and attendance.
