Fleet Tyre Service — what the work involves
Fleet tyre support starts with a usable record: registration or fleet number, tyre specification, wheel position, reported defect and availability. Separate urgent safety concerns from planned wear-related replacements, and agree who can approve additional work. A tyre visit is part of vehicle maintenance; it does not replace the operator’s wider inspection and roadworthiness responsibilities.

Can you work to our existing tyre policy?
Provide the policy, approved specifications and substitution rules. Confirm acceptance and available stock before scheduling work.
Can urgent defects and planned replacements be handled together?
They should be identified separately so urgency is clear. Do not defer an unsafe defect simply to combine it with a later planned visit.
What information belongs in a fleet tyre list?
Include vehicle or trailer ID, tyre specification, wheel position, reported condition and the time and place the vehicle is available.
Can work be arranged across several depots?
List the locations and quantities for each. Coverage, travel and fitting capacity must be confirmed for the individual sites.
Will we receive a condition report?
Agree the inspection scope and required reporting format before the visit. Do not assume a full fleet inspection is included in a tyre fitting charge.
Does this replace scheduled vehicle inspections?
No. Tyre work supports maintenance but does not replace the operator’s scheduled inspections, defect reporting or roadworthiness obligations.
What affects the cost of fleet tyre service?
Fleet size alone does not determine the price. Tyre specification, quantities, sites, scheduling and agreed reporting requirements matter; request a proposal based on the actual work.
How do I arrange fleet tyre service?
Share the fleet list, tyre policy, depot locations, availability windows and defect reports. Name the person authorised to approve tyres, substitutions and additional work. Call 0800 111 6480 to confirm the scope, price and attendance.
